Using UV Sterilizer while treating ick
Im treating 2 red firefish gobys in a 10galqt with Quick Cure (ick mediaction)
I also have a uv sterilizer laying around. Should i hook it up to the QT or will it negate the effect of the Quik Cure? |

I wouldnt worry with the UV sterilizer, I doubt it would have much affect on the parasite.

In a 10 gallon tank, I'd hook it up.

What's in Quick Cure. I would not use the sterlizer during the medication period. It may change some of the chemistry and deposit a bit of ozone. I would use it during qt post treatment.

I would not use the uv untill after the medication is out of the water. Let me know how quick cure works for you. I have used formalin for flukes but generally use cupramine for ich. Good Luck
