T5 lighting for 90 gal

I am going to be getting a 90gallon for christmas and I am wondering what kind of t5 lighting I should get. It is going to be zoa dominated. I do not know if it will have a caopy or not so both retrofit and complete hood fixtures suggestions would help.

Thanks, Brian

Check out www.reefgeek.com They're a sponsor here on RC. I have the 6 bulb Tek5ho fixture over my 75 and LOVE IT. I have many high light demanding Acros, 2 T. croceas and way down at the bottom, a Purple Sebae anemone. Everyone's very happy and growing well.

Only difference is the 90 is a bit deeper so you may need to keep the highest light demanding guys up a little off the bottom. For Zoanthid dominated, you'll be fine.

Reefgeek also has great retrofit kits. Just make sure you go with individual reflectors or a single reflector that wraps around each bulb. That's the key to successful T5HO lighting

You can use T5s on a deep tank, but I would recommend either the Aquactinics reflectors or light fixture.

You can also use MH, but I like the colors that T5s bring out. Personal preference is all

Any fixture or retrofit kit that uses individual reflectors (or single lamp reflectors, SLRs) would be good. I'd say 6 bulbs would be great, though with just zoanthids 4 bulbs would suffice. Don't skimp on a cheap setup with just one large reflector, you lose every benefit of T5 fluorescent setups by doing so.
