So what's the deal with LED's

Are the LED fixtures out on the market worth looking at yet? I'm going to be using a combination of MH, T5 and VHO on my new tank but i would love to just buy a single LED fixture and hang it over the tank. It'll save me alot of time. Just wondering if they have been proven to keep healthy SPS tanks so far.
