Carbon in a Phosban?

I have a phosban reactor, and was reading that it was a good idea to have carbon as a filtration, so, i was thinking that i would just put the carbon in the phosban reactor. Will that work, is it a good idea?

It's a fine idea. Many of us run GAC in reactors.
