no, buy the pheonix and you will be happy you did. the xm bulbs do not have a very high PAR compared to the pheonix and radiums. but they dont make a 250 DE HQI if that is what you have.

now this is totally up to you, but the 15K XM Bulb is horrible in par reviews. You would be better off getting the 20K XM bulb. The 20K outperforms the 15K. XM is weird like that, the 10K is awesome with a lot of par, you would think the 15K would be in the middle on par but it is 10K,20K then 15K.

The 15K is garbage! I would get the Helio 20K any day over the XM. Better Par and alot brighter IMO

is your bulb a single ended or a double ended bulb? what kind of color are you looking for? if it is a SE bulb i say go with the radium bulbs, but they are blue. if it is DE then i would say go with the pheonix. but again it all depends on what look you like and what kind of bulb you need, DE or SE?

Guy in his 1st post he said he was going to go with the Phoenix 14K. So he is running DE.

Still say Helio. Ask around Phoenix washes out some colors, but it is a nice bulb with great par
