Octo NW 150 Skimmer

considering this skimmer for my 65 with 29 sump. Any opinions on it out there? Does anyone know the optimal water level hieght for it to sit in? Thanks.

I would not go over 10 IMO the skimmer will run a little better around 7 to 8. B ut just my two cents

i got one about three months ago and it works pretty good but i always wish i had got something a little better, maybe its just me

I will be using it for a 65gallon with a 29 gallon sump (about half full). My skimmer section will be at 9" deep. Think this skimmer will be ok for this setup?

I just measured mine. I'm running an Extreme "TS" 150, the bigger, earlier version.

It draws 8.5" with an adjustable standpipe up to 14", but fully collapsed, it already blows the lid off with Skimmate.
