Adjusting salinity over time..help me out
Well guys, just measured my salinity in my tank and its 1.30! Not good so i need to lower it back down. How fast can I adjust salinty without it being detrimental to my fish? Also how bad is this for my fish at this point in time with it being 1.3 over the past few days

Probably not harmful in a FO. Inverts are far more sensitive. I'd just remove a gallon a day and replace with RO/DI until it reaches the desired level.

.005 is max a day considered safe to adjust it however it depends on whats in it as alot of inverts wont handle more then .002-003 per day,
