what is this???
What are these things? I first noticed them growing several weeks back. I have just now been able to get a decent pic. Any ideas???

I believe they are called ball anemone's , common hitchikers, harmless and kind of nice!

That is a fat yellow tang.
I would keep an eye on how many of them there are.. if they start multiplying I wouldn't keep them around. |

they kinda look like dendros, though prob unlikely

They're solitary cup corals. There are several dozen species they could be and without a closeup of the skeleton and knowing exactly where they're from there's no way to get much beyond a common name. They're not photosynthetic, so if you want to keep them they will need to be fed meaty food. They won't spread though and probably won't get much bigger than they are currently.
