Limpets to control brown hydroids?
I have a problem with invasive brown hydroids and tried everything from brushing to kalk paste and nothing works. I read that some limpets (keyhole limpets) can control them. Anyone has experience with this? If yes does it really work and what limpet species would be best. Are keyhole limpets safe with corals? I know they can consume coralline algae, but I dont really care about coralline.
Thanks! Ricimer |

limpets are generally used to combat film and hair algae - not heard of them going for hydroids.
