OZONE - Does anyone have this piece of equipment?

I bought this a few months ago from ebay:

* Max Ozone Output: 300 mg/hr
* Utliizes Corona Discharge Ozone Technology
* Pump Output : 3.5 L/min
* Power Switch : on/off button
* Noise : less than 35db
* Power:10W
* Power Source: AC 110-120V
* Dimensions:124Ã—88Ã—36(mm)

As a test I put the airstone in a cup along with an ORP probe from my aquacontroller. The ORP has not risen - but instead went down. Shouldn't the ORP increase or is this equip garbage?

Did you calibrate the ORP probe?
Did your remove the cap on the probe?
What are you using as an controller?
How long have you had it running?
How do you have it set up? Is it through your skimmer?

Just a few things that will help locate a possible problem.

I turns out that the ORP goes down at first and then shot up to 500 - so it works! Odd though.
