Are All Sides of 55Gallon Tanks Tempered?
Are all sides of a Aqueon (formerly ALL glass Aquariums) Tempered? Or is it just the bottom? I'm trying to make sure BEFORE i commit to drilling the back of it for an overflow. Any adivce?

Place a computer screen inside (white screen)
Put on some polarized sun glasses. You sould see a diffraction pattern for any glass that is tempered. No pattern on non tempered. Compare your bottom glass to your sides. Most 55 I have messed with are : Bottom, Front, Back :Tempered Sides (right and left) : non Tempered |

Cool! In case anyone wanted to know...ALL the Aqueon 55 gallons are only tempered on the bottom. I just got off the phone with the manufacturer
