help me pick my next fish(es)
I'm still pretty green to these tanks, and I'm hoping for some guidence for my next fish or fishes to my tank.
Tank is a 210 gallon, 75(ish) gallons in the sump,DSB (6"+ in some areas), fuge up and running, NEP lighting and the current bioload other than a (huge) cleanup crew is 4 pajama cardnails (I need more of em..I like polka dots) There is a star fish, and peppermint shrimp being active and alive, so I assume my test kit is correct in saying my waters pretty good. Problems with cat pee in my sump are also fixed (yea..theresa thread about it) Anyway Theres a couple catagorys of fish I'm thinking of, and would like some advice. Tank has only been up since oct. #1 a couple banggai cardinals #2 a couple of firefish gobys #3 one of the shrimp gobys and a pistol shrimp (LFS has a yellow watchman in stock) I would really like my sand torn up a bit, and the tank was built with this in mind (all base rock glued and sitting on the glass). Long term desires for this tank are for at least a softi reef, but for now, just making sure I can keep things alive..

In a 210 you can get about any reef safe fish. About IMO.

You could add all those in a tank that size. Long term, what do you hope to have in the tank? Sometimes that's a better way of looking at it, as some decisions now may limit future possibilities.

I would go with the shrimp and goby pair they are really cool to watch. Don't however just settle on a fish because you want to get a fish for later it will be very hard to get them out. Buy a fish that you like don't settle.

My intention is to have all of those in the tank at some point. I'm just adding fish slowly as my quarantine set up is kinda small. My intention is to have lots of smaller fish and one larger one (larger tang or angel to hopefully keep them acting more like they do on the reef.
