slug thingy??

I can't get a good picture of this thing, but it most of hitchhiked on something we bought. It was small at first but it seems to be getting bigger. It kinda looks like an oval shell on his back. I almost want to say it looks like maybe he sheds his oval shell as he gets bigger because I've seen what looked like his shell floating around the sand and then next time I see him he's got a shell on his back. He's got two black eyes in the front, 2 feeler antenna things and and elephant looking sucker mouth you can see as he's going around the live rock. He don't look like a snail. His slug like body looks way bigger then his oval shell. It looks like it may be a really thin shell, you can barely tell it's a shell. Just wondering if from that description you can kinda point me in a direction to what this may be,or if it's safe. I don't want him eating our corals.....Thanks a lot
