What size tank would be good for a kole tang, blonde naso tang, and sohal tang

Here's the deal I have a 72 gallon now. With 2 maroon clownfish 1 orange sleeper goby 1 midas blenny 1 bicolor angel 1 kole tang 1 orange spotted rabbitfish.I m in the process now of getting a 300 gallon tank 84x30x27.I m going to take all my fish out of my 72 gallon and put them in my 300 plus add 1 scibble angel 1 blonde naso tang 1 blue ring angel and if possible a sohal tang. The way I was going to do it is the naso and kole tang will be in there atlleast a year before I add the sohal tang.So is a 84x30x27 300 gallon tank big enough for those fish and the sohal and the sohal would be the last fish that goes into the tank

You're in the right ballpark, and while it will ultimately depend on the temperament of the individual fish, the tank size should suffice.

Agreed But if you wait to intro the last tang there will be territory to deal w when the 3rd is brought in.

I'm glad to hear that. So I won't have a problem with him picking on my blenny and goby?

The sohal tang that I had picked on EVERYBODY.

However, I did have bad advice, the tank was only a 72 gallon.

I agree, add them all at the same time, it's probably the best shot. I added a purple tang, powder blue tang, and a copperband all at the same time, and the usually rowdy yellow tang was overwhelmed. Now they all get along just fine. There is occasional tension, but no tail slapping or chasing.

So when should I add them?Should I add them all last? What I was going to do is add two fish every month or two maybe like one old and one new. Also what size should I get them should the naso be bigger than the sohal? My kole tang now is about 4 inches long and by the time I get everything and let my tank cycle for 3 or 4 months. Then my 2 marron clownfish are going to be first so a month after that my kole tang will be bigger.

I are confused! I think maybe you're making it a little more complicated than it needs to be. I would put the tangs in together if at all possible, that's all I'm saying. In an ideal world, if they were all the exact same size that would be cool, but I wouldn't sweat that so much, as long as you don't have one that's WAY smaller than the rest.

If you can't put them all in together put the sohal very last. The are very very tempermental fish and have huge territory issues. I had to move mine to my 225 as it was trying to kill everything in the other tank. They are the best looking fish by far in my opnion so if you can make it work do it. Mine is a very fast swimmer and makes the 7 foot tank look short when he shoots across it and hes only about 4" now so make sure leave room around the rockwork for plenty of swimming for him.

My sohal was only aggressive towards other tangs. Never bothered my clown, goby, puffer, or angel. Just the tangs.

No he's in the 225 with just a porcupine puffer. I had to move him from the other tank as he was going to kill them eventually if I left him. I think you will be okay you just need to make sure they are not of the same body type and try and get the sohal a little smaller than the rest.

They are in the other tank where they originally were and I moved the sohal out to keep him from doing anymore damage. He is super aggressive but very pretty to look at so I compromised and gave him plenty of room on his own.

Make sure all your tangs are at least 2" long any smaller and their mortality rate goes up. The questions you are asking are difficult to answer with any certainty, two fish that are the same size, sex, and species can behave very differently. Adding all the tangs last and at the same time will give you the greatest chance of success.
