The ELOS SYSTEM 70 aquarium has already been ordered and is planned to decorate the office reception area.
Being obsessed with skimming efficiency, I would like to ask for your feedback concerning the NS500 skimmer that accompanies the SYSTEM 70 setup. Should one go for anything "better"? Many thanks in advance! |

Honestly? If you look in the Elos section you'll see everyone loves their amazing best in the world skimmer. However a friend has been using one on a frag/garage shop system and he replaced it with first an old Schuran Jetskim 100 and then an APF600 and both were step change improvements.
It's a nicely made basic venturi skimmer. It's an ok, but not stellar performer. I don't own one but I've seen several of these and NS1000's in action. |
