Turnover Rate Question???

i have a 125 mixed reef. currently my turnover rate is 25.6x....i was thinking of upgrading the koralias to have a turnover rate of 31.2x....again mixed reef. softies, LPS, SPS....I don't think a turnover of 31.2 would be to much for the softies. it wouldn't be that easy to move things around since alot of corals spread and are attached to sever rocks...but would it be a good investment?

I wouldn't see a problem with that at all. You may even put a couple of k4's and keep a k3 in there too. You will just have to play around with it and see what works best for you.

well i dont see how adding powerheads will give you more of a turn over rate, I mean i thought that turnover rate was how much water was being filtered, what your asking is about more flow, haha and i like the sniperkitty

In a reef tank with live rock and corals flow is turnover rate and 'filtering' is generally bad.
