You'll need alot more light. I've seen BT's under t5 lighting doing fine but it was like 6 bulbs. I've heard they do best under halide.

Clowns don't need anemones in our tanks.

Also, I would wait a while ( 6 months ) before attempting even a BTA ( one of the easiest hosting anemone, but still can be difficult ). Need to get yourself familiar with your tank first.

my first bta turned into a ball of snot when hurricane gustov knocked out the power for a week, my secong bta decided to host my powerhead when i rearanged the rock work, now i decided to add some hammer coral for the clowns to see i that works for them

i heard that some clowns will host in other things like long tentacles plate corals... might be a better option. i heard BTA's are somewhat difficult to take care of....

tank raised clowns dont need an anenome, your tank needs to be mature before keeping one as well some say 6 months some say no less then a year. Lots of factors determ time frame but I think the most important factor is it gives a new person to the hobby time to study and understand how to care for different stock and basic compatibility issues
