Corals losing colors !
Hi ,,,,
I run my calcium reactor without ph controller from one month , i just run it 11 hours/day , i notice that most of my corals lose colors (not bleaching ) , my parameters : ph 7.9~8.2 , ca 470 , kh 8 dkh , mg 1300 , sg 1.024 did you think my corals lose colors because i dont have ph controller ? |

You could very well be overdosing the tank, but if you're confident in your water tests (particularly calc and alk) I doubt it's the problem. What corals are showing poor colors?

If your measurements are correct...then your Ca reactor is doing what it should be doing by maintaining your Ca/Alk levels.
So...any problems you have with coral colour would NOT be related to your Ca reactor. That leaves lighting, water parameters and patience. Patience because if you've fixed the problem, it will still take weeks before the coral colours change.

I have 300 Liters SPS tank and my light is 2x250 w , did you think if i use additive like reefboost its will fix the problem ?
