My hermit crabs are Dying-
So i am having an issue.
The little Hermit crabs with blue legs are dying. 24Gallon nano Cube 15 hermit crabs- some big some small 10 turbo snails Coral Banded Shrimp Emerald Crab True Perc Royal Gramma So in the last two months i've found the bodies of 3-4 hermit crabs just resting on the sand bed. i suspect they are dying and being picked out of their shell. I think it may be the Shrimp- or one of the large hermit crabs who often looks like s/he is trying to get into the little one's shells. Any help? Also, I am thinking about replacing my Coral Banded Shrimp- Gotta get soemthing more friendly. Probably a Cleaner shrimp. Thoughts? Also. i am thinking about getting an assortment of hermit crabs, some red legged some other ones. Do they do well mixed in a reef environment? anyone else have any ideas why they may be dying? |
