Mirror Tint on the Back of Tank?

I am currently setting up my new 110 and was wondering if anyone has used mirror tint on the back of the tank? I think it is going to be neat and make the tank look bigger. Plus i will be able to see behind my rocks because of the reflectiveness. Has anyone ever used this or seen it used?

For about 25 years mirror back tanks were available as a option from most of the major manufacturers. I have seen and sold quite a number of them , and the fish have not suffered from it. One thing to point out though- algae growing on the mirror back will def appear to be 2x as much as there is!

i have used the mirror back that you put behind glass and stick on. it is a neat look, but as others have stated it bothers fish, and it shows algae like crazy. i ended up getting rid of it just because the algae didn't look good, and because it became scratched. i would recommend going with the standard blue or black.

Same with placing a mirror in front of YWG. It makes for a very interesting yet serious fight.

There's mirrors and then there's mirrors.. They are available in less than 100% reflectivity. Kinda like the dim setting on a rearview mirror. A low reflectivity might look pretty cool.
