Recommended submersible heater brands
Hi all,
I'm going to be starting up a 180 gal fish and hardy invert aquarium and was wondering if there is a commonly known brand of submersible heater that works really well. I think this is an important aspect that is sometimes overlooked. I saw these "E" type digital submersible heaters by fluval that looked pretty sharp in terms of ease of adjustment (not sure how they are on quality). I've used visitherm many years ago but wasn't sure how these fell in terms of ratings. thanks a lot CDS |

I have used visitherm heaters in freash and salt tanks for years. After trying many other brands over the years I always recomend visitherm and still use them today. I have seen those fluval heaters advertised and think they look pretty cool but have no experience with them. I would like to hear from somebody who has.

Hi Rainfords,
Thanks for the reply. I'll stick with the visitherm unless I hear otherwise. Thanks a lot CDS |
