old tank
I have a 90 gal mixed reef tank that is just over 4 years old. Earlier I was successful with LPS and SPS as well as some softies but over the past year most hards have died. I thought it might be too many shrooms so I depopulated them and added a monte frag a few weeks ago which is now dead. The sister frags in the LFS are still fine so I know its my problem. Fish are doing great - perculas regularly spawn. I test for nitrates, phosphates, alk, calc, mag, with Salifert kits also specific gravity and ph. Everthing tests great. I use carbon and phosban and a euroreef skimmer. I change about 10% water monthly. Any ideas?? Should I be testing for something else?
