Question
Can I add sand to my established tank or can I move the CC I have?I just recently added a red corsi wrasse (sp.) and I have CC as my top layer. He does have LR to hide under but I know they like to hide under sand.Could I add a little to one side or something?I am just trying to have him be able to get under the sand like they like too.
Thanks Lou |

You can do both
I would remove the crushed coral first and then add a medium grade argonite. You can use a small shop vac to take out the crushed coral and get a piece of pvc --place a funnel over the end and use it to direct the new base to the bottom of the tank. You should not have too much mess this way. The wrasse will survive while you do this

be sure to rinse your new sand before adding. And I would have the power heads turned off. jmo
