Powerhead Placement

The tank is going well. It is a 25 gallon cube. About 33lbs of live rock, a 3-4 inch sand bed, 1 clown, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 scooter blenny, and a handful of snails. Also one button polyp coral placed higher up in the tank. On this cube the filter intake and out flow are placed up high. I have a powerhead on the way. Would I be better to create a cross flow current, or place it near the bottom going the same direction water is currently flowing? Just looking for best practices.

Thanks

To Reef Central

I would place it on the opposite side from the outflow.

Putting it on the same side would be like tornado.
