acro tips going from dark brown to sky blue. bleaching?

i would assume that bleaching is just that - going to a white color, but the tips of this one are going to a sky blue. is it just coloring up from the store? i've had it for about a month now.

i also have another one that survived a near-cycle (3 day power outage). it bleached out (pure white color), but still has good PE. the tips are now going to a fluorescent green, and it was a blue before. is it/will it coloring back up, or is that leftovers of something else?

from what you wrote, they sound like they are just coloring up. I've had corals change colors when I bring them home from the LFS. Usually because of different lighting conditions.

I've seen that also. I believe it is a sign of new growth.

Depends on the coral, but most of the new growth on all of my SPS are a different color, or white.
