VSV mixture
I heard that RC has a post concerning VSV (vodka, sugar, vinegar) as a mean of adding additional carbon to the tank. I was hoping that someone can point me to that link. To make a long story short, my 30 gal reef tank crashed on me recently and it has another outbreak of green hair algae.

FWIW, I had much better/faster results using AZ-NO3. It actually ended up being cheaper than vodka, too.
