looking to use these as supplemental lighting and just wanted know if anyone had any experience with these strip units??

It looks use for the moon light, isn't it.

if you want LED lighting for your tank, There many choice in the market, http://www.solarisled.com/SolarisMain.aspx

Nope, its designed for supplemental lighting.. pretty big in europe

saw some tanks that look great,

PFO is waaayyy over priced!! im not trying to replace my HQI just add to it.
