Sea hare owners-how well do they eat HA?
Also do they represent any kind of a threat to anything else in the tank? What do you feed them when the HA is gone?
Thanks |

What species of sea hare? There are about 30 of them- all with different diets.
They don't pose a threat to anything else in the tank unless you let them rot. That's a whole lot of flesh and the larger species can foul the water very quickly. And before someone jumps in and says they produce toxic ink- no. The ink is a soup of amino acids and is non-toxic.

In the interest of keeping frags where they belong, which would be the smallest, or where can I find that info out?
