AquaC EV-180 VS Octopus-DDNW-150

Hey guys so i am torn between one of these new skimmers;

AquaC EV-180 Protein Skimmer w/ JG Fitting + Mag-Drive 7 Pump
cost:394.99 (marine depot)

or

OCT-DDNW-150 Octopus Recirculating Skimmer
cost: 324.99 (ReefBulkSupply)+ 89.99 (mag-drive 7 pump marine depot) = 415.98

Can I hear the pro's and con's from people who have or currently own these units? Also If you have one used I might be interested, thanks.

Ncastro1981, I just had a conversation with CorbetJackson about those AquaC's. I am not a mechanical whiz, so I may be wrong, but I had trouble getting those to run wet enough with a mag 7-needle.

The skimmer "works" fine, I am just not a fan of the injector I guess.

Can anybody chime in to say "Mike, stupid, you need to do __________ to it! -- idiot)
