copper

ok i have a 220 gallon tank that was treated with copper it hade copper in it for about two weeks then it was emptied its been empty for about three weeks going to be reef live rock and fish do i need to treat the tank and live rock before making reef tank should i buy knew live rock or will i be fine thanks

I would buy new rock.

IIRC the way to clean a tank that was treated with copper is to use muriatic acid to wipe it out.
Hopefully someone will chime in and confirm this.

Current Tank Info: Barebottom (the tank not me...at least not at the moment).
