lighting

i have 3x150w metal halide and I would like to change to 3x250w. if I only change the bulbs will the transformers and the whole light fixture syill working?

You need to change both the bulbs and ballasts-

Jim is right, if you don't the ballasts will only put out about 150 watts per light, so even if you buy a 250 bulb, you won't be using the 250 watts.

Not to mention the stress the bulb will put on the ballast.
