I wouldn't risk putting it in the sump, just because it was so hard to catch the first time. How big is that thing?

i saw it kill my clam, it was sooooo thin i couldnt get my finger nail beneath it to grab it and it slithered away, but yestesrday was my lucky day, it was strolling in the sand, i grabbed it and put it in the container, my best guess it is a polyclad flatworm, its about 3-4 inches, it eats mollusks....

Polyclad Flatworm, I had one in my tank a few years ago and it killed all my snails. Put it in your freezer.

I agree with Octoberfest - freeze it and then feed it to the tank. maybe wait until you get a new clam. talk about poetic justice! [I'm assuming it won't regenerate from the tissue]

Token,
Thanks for loading me up with that image! I can see it, too. Think I'll stay up late tonight, with a gun.
