skimmer suggestions
Right now I have FO (55 gal) tank with a Red Sea skimmer (low budget).My question is what is a good skimmer or realiable brand but not to expensive that I could up grade with.Hang-on and sump model.Thanks

I like my Coralife SuperSkimmer 220 a lot. But it is not plug and play and most likely people will come in here and tell me how incredibly terrible they are.
Mine has been in service for 15 months and has performed great. But I did have to make a custom bubble diffuser and it has to be cleaned and maintained to function well. |

Juruense if you all ready have one then you already know how incredibly terrible they are! Tappy, go with a Octopus.

the super skimmers can work well they just aren't in the same league as the octo/ MSX skimmers

I had to do some mods on my Super skimmer 220 (stop the micro bubbles) but other then that am very happy with mine

i have a 46 gallon bow front with a AGA Megaflow 1 sump . Could someone suggest a good in sump skimmer for me.? Thanks. |

Roneil... Setup a new thread with all the details of your setup so far and what you would like to keep and you will get a few good ideas..
remember to put the dimensions of your skimmer area in the sump. |
