PhosBan and Reactor Question
I am going to set up a new uniquarium. I was wondering how much more effective it would be to use a reactor vs just putting phosban in a media bag in the rear filtration section? Is the reactor worth it? Thanks.

Oh yes it is worth is as the reactor makes sure the media is used efficiently as possible and eliminates by-pass which always happens when used in a filter bag

I think a reactor is the only way to use it! Very simple and inexpensive way to make sure it has the right amount of flow.
I don't like using media bags because the accumulate detirus and the like..... I actually just added a 2nd reactor for carbon that is linked to the phosphate reactor. |
