sigh... it makes me sad but it's time

Hi all - long time no post...

Well life has been catching up to me (knocking me over more like it) - single parenthood really is a time suck.

It's time to break down the 75g. I never ended up setting up the 180g, but I'm going to save it and all the associated hardware I purchased and set it up when the time is right again.

A lot of you have seen/heard what is in my tank. I'm not looking to make money on this, but I need to charge something for the livestock to make sure they go to responsible reefkeepers.

The hardgoods will be posted for sale at a later date.

So.... PM me with interest. Or e-mail me at josh.vince@gmail.com

Awww man... I guess as long as you're holding onto the 180 we at least have a shot of someday seeing that build thread? Enjoy your son (he's a cutie) and please pop in on us still during your break ok?

I must ask at least once a month, what ever happened to Josh. I know you've had more twists and turns in the road than a lot of us. I hope all goes well for you. That 75 had some spectacular corals in it. I wish I was closer!

Good Luck Josh. Hope to see you back in the game sooner rather than later!

PM'd you.

Just so everyone knows... everything is on a first-come first-serve basis. Whomever shows up at my house with $$$ first gets whatever they want to buy.

The only 2 exceptions are the Todd's torch (Mel gets that since I got it from her) and the Tub's blues (Ricky already paid me for those).

Oh - and make offers. I hate setting prices on things, but make sure the offers are reasonable. I don't want to over-charge people, but don't want to give stuff away.

Josh

Hey everyone... more bad news for me. jdoenumber2 is over and he noticed (I should have, but I guess I've been looking at the tank less than I thought) that there are flatworms all over the place.

He told me to say that everything looks super healthy which is confusing to the both of us.

I'm not sure what to do here... I'm tempted to scrap it all - I don't have the energy to go get a wrasse or dip everything or treat w/ interceptor.

Sigh...

If they are just the little red ones I would not be too concerned the person who Purchases the corals can just dip them in exit or pro coral cure.

Josh may want some of your stuff, always looking at palys and ricordia. Don't worry about the flat worms they are harmless (generally). I have never seen a wrasse wipe out the population quickly....that would take some time. Easier just to treat on transfer or treat the system with flat worm exit. I have tons of experience doing that (as do many in the forum) You want to siphon down the population before treating, and then have fine mesh nets to scoop them out as you do treat. Otherwise they can crash your system when the die.
BTW very sorry it has been such a bad year....MK

Josh you've got incredible stuff. Those little FW are harmless. Just warn everyone to do a dip with iodine and QT stuff if they have concerns. I wouldn't think twice about buying some of that stuff. Last time I saw it, that tank had some GORGEOUS corals in it.

Looking at everything in person i have to say that everything is exceptionally healthy and colorful. He has alot of mature colonies and I only wish i had not blown my monthly fish budget.
