heaters
I have a 75 gallon FOWLR tank; my temperature changes between day and night - perhaps 5 degrees per day;
Does anyone know of a super- amazing heater that will not allow such fluctuations? I saw that there is a biotherm temperature controller - supposedly regulates your heater with a remote sensor - anything that would help?! Also, someone suggested that, rather than, let's say, one 400 watt heater, use maybe 2- 250 watt heaters - in case one overheats, the other will shut off or if one shuts off in error, the other will limit the decrease in temp - what do you guys all think? |

I JUST bought and installed 2 "stealth" PVC shatterproof heaters 200W in a 72, apparently accurate within 1'F. Looks good, works good, accurate, and I went with the two as you stated above. Both in different power sources, if one craters, the other will make up, and if one overheats or shorts out it wont be too bad.
