Is anyone familiar with this "new " site?
www.moonaquatic.com To create your account you must provide VERY personal info like birth day. Hey for a cone skimmer for $2.00 why not? |

That must be a typo for the cone skimmer, even if it is the lowest of low cheap end stuff you couldn't buy it that cheap if you were in China buying it from the sweat shop that they made it at!
although I did get a chuckle out of this Quote:
Apparently you can buy fish disease too

Let us know how it goes. You never know, I suppose. Plus, doesnt look like it comes with a pump, so that could add to how cheap it is.
This is besides the point but reality is, you can make these cones for relatively low production costs. Much of the costs of a skimmer go into R&D, costs that international manufacturers skirt by waiting and copying. Anyways, let us know if you recieve something. I wouldnt be surprised either way |

On another note, I don't advocate companies copying things from others but I will say that some skimmers out there are ridiculously priced. I know a lot of time and money goes into R&D but it's still tough to swallow for most hobbyists so it should come as no surprise to see knock-offs partiularly because of how inexpensive it is to manufacturer a skimmer |

It looks like it's under construction. I think the pictures and prices are just fillers for the html page test. I hate the use of lightbox javascript to load images. It's so slow.
