Wish me luck

I just moved 80% of my livestock to my 90g from my 50g. been postponing it cause i finally had everything happy and didnt want to risk it all. tank has been up and running for 2 weeks now with the new rock(dead), and i added some zoas 2 days ago to test things out. earlier tonight i moved over several pieces of LR from my 50, then moved my clown over. after 6-7 hours of him swimming around happily i moved my sps, almost all my rock, skimmer, lights, 1/2 my pumps, and my hippo tang. now ill wait till tomorrow night before adding my yellow tang and royal gamma. the yellow will probably be the last to move, as he has been with me the longest.

I am hoping that you have tested your water quality and aren't going by the "well it looks fine to me" test.

When you set up a new tank like that, with dead rock, and want to add corals two weeks later, you HAVE to test your ammonia levels, and preferably pH and your other standard quality tests.

i matched the ph, alk, temp, and salinity. i also added about 10lbs of LR earlier this week from my fuge so i could get a pod population going. had a few snails and hermits in there too to test the water since they are so sensitive to changes.
