Buying a 75g Tank
I was looking at glasscages.com and saw descent price for a 75g reef ready tank, the setup has the compartment in the middle of the tank, and it seems the holes are at the very bottom. Is this a good setup, and if somebody could explain how that works.
Atm Ive got an empty 50 gallon tank, and the overflow I would buy is almost 70 bucks, half the price of the tank itself. Is this a good site, and will that reef ready area in the back middle cause any problems? |

"Reef Ready" basically just means that the overflow is inside the tank. Much better than the hang-on designs. Less chance for a flood.
As far as purchasing a glass cages unit, I'd personally look towards another. I've never bought one but I do believe their glass is thinner than AGA, Perfecto, Oceanic, etc. They cost less for a reason. That alone would worry me. Plenty of used 75's out there with extras included such as stand, canopy, sump, lights , etc. |
