ATI t5 tanks

I hear all the positive comments on these fixtures, but haven't seen to many people post any pics of them.

Lets see some tanks lite with the sunpower or powermodule.

Check out this thread. He doses Zeovit but the tank is lit by an ATI T5. I'm looking to place an order for one in the next week.

I going to order an ATI Powermodule 6 x 54w as its the largest one that I can fit on my 90gal Oceanic Tech tank due to the Euro Bracing with one of two configurations:

Suggested by Grim Reefer

Ati Blue Plus
UVL 75/25
GE 6500K Daylight
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue

or

ATI Blue plus
ATI Blue plus
UVL 10000K AquaSun
UVL 75/25 14000K
ATI Blue Plus
ATI True Actinic

I'm leaning toward the second one as this combo is a bit on the bluer side.

I am looking at these also, but since my tank is 84 inces long, i would have to order 2x36 x 10 bulbs. at over a grand each, thats 2000 bucks to light my tank. I wish they mDE A 72 inch model :-)

I placed my order today for an ATI Powermodule from Reefgeek and should have it in the next week. The bulb selection I ended up going with was:

3 -- ATI Blue plus
1 -- ATI True Actinic
1 -- UVL 10000K AquaSun
1 -- Fiji Purple

I guess I'll see what it looks like when I receive it. I'll post pics.

Cdpower

Thanks for posting the bulb combinations. This way I don’t need to read through the entire T5 thread.

I'm planning to buy a six bulb fixture for my 90 gal Oceanic Tech. Is there a performance difference between the Powermodule and the Sunpower?

Thanks

The SunPower is a more economical version of the Powermodule. Just like the Powermodule it features parabolic Miro-Silver reflectors and an active cooling system, but it comes in a more economical bent aluminum housing versus the curved, heavy-duty housing on the Powermodule and it has fewer fans. Performance wise it is suppose to be almost, but not quite as good as the Powermodule.

I think they are roughly the same, the Powermodule is just a little bit more "fancy"- GrimReefer has tested the Sunpower and he could comment better on that. If the dimensions are similar to the ATI, that will give you as much coverage as you can get on the Tech 90.

Do these fixtures have to be hung or can you get some kind of mounting leg package. the ceiling over my tank is sloped and the tank sits at an angle so it would be very very hard to hand something.

KRASHPD, Thats a nice looing tank. The way you set up your lights is pretty sharp. I am about to get 2x36"x10 bulbs for my 200 gallon (84"long). I was trying to figgure out how i wanted to hang them, and I think I might do something similar to yours after seeing it... Thanks for the pics!!!

So would i be correct in saying that these fixtures don't come with ballasts? If so what kind did you ATI-ers end up going with?

Do the ATI's have separate switches for different sets of bulbs in the fixture or are they all on one switch?
