How long for LLE to clear??

I started my fish on selcon for LLE and in general nutritional deficiencies... so how long does it take for their color to totally come back and the patches on my hippo tang's face to heal?
I have a flame angel with color fading on its face and a blue hippo tang with parts of its tail missing and blotches of blue missing from its face... here's a pics of their progress.... the flame angel seems more vibrant than b4... the blue hippo tang seems the same...
(sorry for blurry pic)

It can take months. You should also be dosing vitamins like vita chem. What are you feeding? There is some evidence that vitamin C is beneficial in the recovery of HLLE.

i switch off between mysis and brine shrimp (frozen) I thaw it out and let it soak in selcon or another vitamin enhancer i got before it. They've been on the vitamins for a week now...

You should feed your tang some seaweed selects on a clip or rubberbanded to a rock. You can also add the liquid vitamins to the seaweed and let it soak in so you know the fish is ingesting it.
Brine shrimp really has no nutritional value you might want to try formula one cubes or flake. You can also add this daily to the tank at about 1/4 teaspoon or less to start and buil up to about half tsp daily http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails....449450430&at=0 More info here. http://www.livingreefs.com/forums/sa...vitamin-c.html Couldn't find the RC thread.

That product link is incorrect: http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails....93197697039798
$5 off coupon code: LUL789

I am treating a purple tang at the moment for this. Within a week of feeding good food soaked in Selcon & another good fish vitamin & treating the tank at ~25ppm Vitamin C, the fish looks 50% better than it did a week ago.

Are you running activated carbon on your system? I've seen more evidence to correlate carbon dust to HLLE than any type of nutritional deficiency.

I run Purigen but I got the fish that way about a week ago from my LFS because they know I dose my tank with VC.
