9015 not skimming properly
Hey guys,
I put in the pump you sent a while back, and it ran great! For a time... This past week I heard it making a loud racket, and noticed there was no foam in the riser tube. I took the cup off and looked down inside. The noise was coming from water (I assume) being pumped up and hitting the little inverted disc and splashing back down. But, no bubbles coming back up. And it's noisy so I have just turned it off until I can figure it out. Is it possible the thing just needs to be cleaned out? The water level in my sump hasn't changed since it was working, and I doubt the water is *so clean* as to render it inoperable. Besides that, I turned it on tonight after several days of being off and the problem persists. Any ideas?

Actually, nevermind I read a thread further down and applied the knowledge. Turns out the bottom plate had been pushed into the unit, opening a hole besides the intake for the pump itself. It's making foam now, I'll post again if it stops
