bubble king mini 180 question

I have a bubble king 180, it's been running in my new tank (still cycling) for a week now. It has yet to produce any sludge or overflow into the collection container. I have the water level as high as allowable and still nothing. They are suppost to be the best but am wondering what the deal is? Surely there must be something worthy of expelling from my tank?

I hope so. It should suck out gold for the price you pay for one.

Dial the amount of air being injected so that the bubbles are about half way up the collection cup.
Keeping a constant water level in the sump is critical.
