New OCEANIC 50
Today was the day. Tore down my 37 and replaced it with a 50. This is going to house primarily bta's and a pair of breeding ocellaris. Thought I'd share so here it is.
It will sit on an anitque ice box in my kitchen. ![]() Added live sand, yikes, reflecting a mess! ![]() The hardest part, aquascaping, not sure if we got it perfect, some tweeking needed. ![]() And we have water. ![]() Lights, the nylon stocking is filled with live rock from old tank to be removed later. And there you have it. ![]() Temporary home to fish and anemones. The new spllit is towards the bottom. ![]() fun day, I am very tired but satisfied. |

And you should know, I am very appreciative for all the help. I didn't post the one with your face, so no one will know it's you.
Clearing up nicely, by tomorrow should be crystal. Sam's right you are the bomb!

Nice tank. I bet that's just perfect for a single 250w sunpod.
What skimmer is that? |

I LOVE THAT SIZE. I too have a 37 that already seems too cramped. If I wouldn't have just purchased a TEK T5 fixture for it I would seriously consider the upgrade. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

It's a Tunze nano skimmer. I have had skimmer issues in the past. So far so good, from what I hear is a pretty good skimmer. (got it form Mr. Kaboom) I really like the small size and the fact that it is in my back chamber, can barley see it.
