best sand sifter

what do you guys recommend for a good sand sifter for a 1" sand bed.. i stir mine up manually and it works great just wonderng if a sand sifting star would be great. i bought a big sifter goby and man he was too much..

i use a diamond goby and he was a little PITA for about a month then settled down. needless to say my sand is pure white

sad sifting stars don't fare well over the long haul. They clean out the sand bed and starve. Goby is a better idea

+1 on the sifting stars. they do a terrific job but they also eat everything and then starve to death. also agree on a small goby.
