Calcium Reactor EXPERTS ... pelase help
for several weeks now now ph in my coralife 250 is not dropping under 7.3 ... i have adjusted effluent and co2 every possible way ... no change. triple checkled ph probe.. all working properly,...
what could be the cause of this? could it be that the pump is not working propely? (would no circulation cause a high ph?) |

HI i AM running a reactor i have my drip rate set at 20ML a min and a bubble count of 25 to30 per min don't know if that helps .if your drip rate is to fast it is not staying in the reactor long enough to melt

Have you calibrated your ph meter?

Stupid question, but has to be asked.
Is your CO2 tank full?

ya its full ... just refilled it. i just started another thread about this .. apparently co2 isnt mixing with water and creating a bubble at the top which pushes the water out and the pump no longer pumps water cause the waterline in the chamber dropped. I have dialed back co2 now but still no success with the ph dropping...
