ATI Powermodule 8x 54w T5HO

I'll be picking one of these up soon (second hand).

As there is no way to attach it to the roof (it is too high and no studs), what would be the best way to have it over the tank?

The tank is 4x2x2 exactly. I was thinking about building a wooden frame? What do you think?

Nice find .
I have seen some built out of sch 40 pvc . Then it's painted and bolted to the back of the tank with flag pole holders . It ends up looking like those expensive kits they sell .

You could bend some conduit, attach it to the back of your stand/the wall- and hang the fixture from that. You could build mounting legs from acrylic.

No way at all from the ceiling, huh? The fixtures look fantastic floating in the air.
