Hermit crab
How long does it take for a hermit crab to molt? I know land hermit crabs can take up to 4 to 8 weeks. The hermit wedged himself between two rocks and hasn't moved for a week. I'm just afraid that if he dies it will cause a spike considering hes fairly big.

It varies. Once a month should be about right IMO.

Personally i have never seen my scarlet hermits stay still, i guess mine molt at night cause i wake up and see pieces. I know they r all alive cause my tank is small and i can count them. You might want to check on him and see if hes not stuck.

A little while after posting it made its way out, no signs of molting that I can see.
