Centropyge nox, the Midnight Angel
I got one of these 4 weeks ago. He is in my 30 g cube with H. magnifica (will out grow this tank soon), two clams, Xenia and a few SPS. He seem to do fine and not nip at any coral anemone or clam. A very beautiful fish, extremely graceful. Anybody else with experience on this fish?

Mihn, I always liked those fish, but they are supposedly a greater risk to corals. I have a potters, which many say are one of the better centropyge, and sure enough it is a nipper. Good luck!

I saw one at my LFS not too long ago. Obviously, its not a colorful fish, but something about it really peaked my interest. Just something about it being completely black made me really like it. Unfortunately, I already have a pygmy angel and don't really want 2 dwarf angels fighting one another. Let us know how it works out for you.

Oddly enough I have been thinking about adding a dwarf to my cube, and a Nox has been on my short list. Will be curious to see how it does for you. (( even though all dwarfs are different ))

DEXNC,
How big did he get after 4 years? Mine is only slightly more than 1 inch, much less than my A. percula clowns. Todd, Sorry. Mine is totally dark, even the pectoral fins are all black. He moves into and out of cervices with grace and often slip into the rock side way to enter cracks. His fins are always extended and the fins are overlap. Of all the angels, I think I like French Angels and Midnight Angels the most. IMO, they are the most graceful of all angels.
