Reef Octopus Skimmer???

Has anyone heard of these skimmers? I am shopping for a new skimmer for my 90g reef. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Pros, cons & alternates would be a great help. Not looking to break the bank but definately would like to get a quality unit.

i love my octopus skimmer. i don't know all the pro's and con's as its the only skimmer i've used since the old days when i had the berlin skimmers. its relatively easy to maintain and it pulls out tons of crud, thats good enough for me!

The octopus skimmers are great skimmers for the price. When I was in the market for a skimmer for my 75g, I did alot of reading and searching on this site. I ended up getting an nw150 since it fit my budget and size requirements at the time. I figured I would replace it with a more expensive skimmer later when my budget allowed. However, I've had it for two years now and don't see a reason to buy a more expensive one. It pulls some nasty crud out and has been very reliable. For my tank and stock levels, it works very well.

I love my NW-150 that's on my heavily stocked 75g. Was not really expensive and works perfect for me. Keeps my tank looking good.

A nw200 or extreme 160 would be a good choice on a 90G IME
